RCMS measures; EDGE500 brings information together.
Measuring points and central monitoring fulfil different roles in showing electrical conditions in distribution, rack and cooling supplies. RCMS evaluates residual currents; COMTRAXX® EDGE500IP brings measurements and alarms from compatible devices into a shared view.
LINETRAXX® SmartDetect RCMS
Evaluates values from suitable measuring current transformers on four channels. Prewarning and main alarm thresholds can be set for each channel; AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC detection depend on the selected configuration and function modules.
- Monitoring the relevant distribution branch or load group at a separate measuring point
- Evaluating measured values and channel alarms on the local display
- Transmitting measurements and alarms via Modbus RTU
COMTRAXX® EDGE500IP
Collects measurements, status and alarm messages from compatible devices. Provides browser-based installation views, alarm assessment and recording; it does not replace the device that directly measures residual current.
