Detect the first insulation fault early
Moisture, contamination, ageing and mechanical effects can weaken electrical insulation over time. ISOMETER® devices continuously monitor insulation resistance between active conductors and earth in unearthed IT systems. This provides measurements and alarms for operations teams to assess critical changes.

Understand the system architecture
In an IT system, live conductors are not directly connected to earth. Behaviour during the first insulation fault is assessed alongside the system configuration, leakage capacitances and protection arrangement.
Select a device for the circuit
Main circuits, control supplies and auxiliary circuits do not have identical measurement conditions. AC/DC voltage configuration, system leakage capacitance and connected power electronics determine model selection.
