UNIMET810ST is used for safety testing of electrical and medical equipment. The manual specifies use only on earthed systems; leakage currents measured in IT systems are not reproducible, so test results cannot be used. IEC 60601-1 and IEC 61010-1 testing require the relevant software licence; IEC 61010-1 also requires the TP1010 test probe. The EPS800 data sheet covers an external power-source accessory for protective earth resistance measurements; the main device’s test scope is assessed from the UNIMET8xxST manual.
